A journey of my life

Dmi never hesitated to join RMC even though he already spent 3 years in SDAR. I met his teachers and many discouraged him from leaving SDAR. I know SDAR is a good school, especially in academics. But I believe he will learn more about life in RMC. I told him to just go for the selection and think about it later if he got the offer. So, the selection took place in RMC for a week in January. It was a very stringent process and only creme-de-creme will be selected to be Putera. Luckily, it was smooth sailing for him and after the final interview, he got the offer. Other than him, my batchmate's son OP Budin also got selected from MCKK. These boys are all coming from good schools. The Komandan has ensured the selected boys will be trained and educated properly to be the best product the college ever produced. My first marathon this year, a 42km at 42 years old of me. No proper training prior to the race. It was long break since puasa. In average I ran 3km per week on the treadmill for about 2 months before the race. My target was sub 6 and managed to get it in the very nick of time after playing catch-up with 6 hours pacers during the last 12km...hehehe During the race After the race

The project was suggsted by OP Ala to celebrate our 40th birthday in 2014. However, it took few months to book the climb date with Mount Kinabalu Park authority and to get everyone to improve their fitness level for the climb.  The climb was scheduled on 24th January before we were told there was a mistake in booking the slots by the guide during the briefing that night. Everything became havoc and some of us were angry because we have to purchase new flight tickets, rearrange the our annual leaves and rebook our accommodation. The guide should have informed us the changes at least a week before not the night before. Fortunately, we agreed to just proceed with the new date since everyone is here already.
