Get better soon Ian...

I don't feel like to do any 2012 reflections or celebrate new year. Just hoping my boy Ian will get better soon. Lucky, his mummy & stepfather took quick action brought him for thorough check-up before doctor found out he has acute appendicitis. It can be fatal if inflamed appendix to rupture and immediate surgery took place last Saturday. I spent two nights at the hospital looking after him. Well he's very heavy, needs me to help him stand-up to go to the toilet. Now he's recovering at his mummy's place. Thanks to  those visiting him at the hospital. It did bring both sides of the family closer again. Get well soon Ian.

Get well soon Lan! It will take 2months at least for the surgery wounds to heal completely.. =D Happy resting n speedy recovery too.. I once had my appendix removed too in 2008.. almost acute btw... painful experience all the way..

Ian is recovering fast. I had mine removed 10 years ago. Tapi yg tu mmg potong dan lambat recover. Skrg doktor tebuk lubang jer, recovery should be very fast.

2021 Triumph Trident 660

Just a month after I bought my SV650, Fiza's friend offered her husband's motorcycle at a very attractive price. Apparently, her husband had given up riding and was willing to let go of the bike. After discussing it with me, I immediately told her to grab it because the mileage was fairly low. They settled the deal in just 15 minutes and over the following weekend, we went to JB to pick up the bike. To our surprise, the previous owner not only handed over the bike but also everything else, including riding jackets, boots, helmets, gloves, and more. Even the bike came with extras like a windscreen, new levers, engine guard, belly pan, tail bag, and bike cover. One of the wishes I have on my bucket list is to own a big bike before I hit 40. A long time ago (in the year 1997 to be exact), when I came back from Japan after finishing my studies, I wanted to cry looking at the price tag of big cc motorcycles in Malaysia. Due to all kinds of taxes imposed by the government, they are ridiculously expensive!! Probably, the most expensive in the world! (How ironic, big bikes are cheaper in Singapore than here??)
