TNF 100 Philippines 2013 - 50km Ultra Trail Running

For my first ever TNF series, I've chosen TNF Philippines. Initially I registered 100km category but later I downgraded to 50km  category because I got nervous when I read last year review about 2/3 of the 100km participants were DNFed. Top professional runners claimed that TNF Philippines is among the toughest trail course of the entire Asia Pacific and I concur to that. In majority of the races I took part, I will be in the middle pack, and that means high possibility I will not be able to complete the race before cut-off time. Ray & Chin Ann did 100km, while Ijam & me in 50km category.

Thanks Ray, Lina & Kak Millie. I think I got hooked to ultra trail running. I enjoyed SAC & TNF Philippines so much and hope to run another TNF series next year.

2021 Triumph Trident 660

Just a month after I bought my SV650, Fiza's friend offered her husband's motorcycle at a very attractive price. Apparently, her husband had given up riding and was willing to let go of the bike. After discussing it with me, I immediately told her to grab it because the mileage was fairly low. They settled the deal in just 15 minutes and over the following weekend, we went to JB to pick up the bike. To our surprise, the previous owner not only handed over the bike but also everything else, including riding jackets, boots, helmets, gloves, and more. Even the bike came with extras like a windscreen, new levers, engine guard, belly pan, tail bag, and bike cover. Weekend jaunt to Brisbane

The following weekend after the trip to Adelaide, Fiza got another day off in Brisbane. Since I had never been to Brisbane before, I joined her trip to Down Under again within a week. Trip to Australia again  Like the Adelaide trip, the flight was at night and we arrived at Brisbane Airport in the morning. After Fiza got her rest at the hotel, we went out looking for lunch. Then we jalan-jalan at the shopping arcade. Around the city center  In the evening, we went out running along the river. The view by the river bank was spectacular. The city is alive at night, unlike Adelaide. There were events and people were busy everywhere. A short run along the river  The next day, we went to Warner Bros. Movie World near the Gold Coast.
