A journey of my life

This year I was decided to run a full marathon, probably the one and only marathon this year... Probably I will race in SCKLM again and make it my annual event many more years to come

My first event in 2017. Thanks Fiza for accompanying me for the rest of 42km. I also met OP Ikmal who was a marathon virgin during the race. Both us made it to the finish line in sub 6 hours. A medal for you for accompanying me the whole 42km on folding bike for 6 hours! Looking forward to next marathon in March.

My first marathon this year, a 42km at 42 years old of me. No proper training prior to the race. It was long break since puasa. In average I ran 3km per week on the treadmill for about 2 months before the race. My target was sub 6 and managed to get it in the very nick of time after playing catch-up with 6 hours pacers during the last 12km...hehehe During the race After the race

An 18km trail run in Mardi area in Serdang. The course about 90% trail with 20% deep in jungle steep elevation route which full with fallen logs and long thorns arise along the Nibong palm trunks. Pretty dangerous if you not used to trail running. Nevertheless, we completed the run in 3:05 hrs. It was a great event to burn all the lemang & rendang we had during Hari Raya.

The race distance was only 15km and I ran from home to warm-up. Managed to get 27km in total that night. The race was okay But running with SH made it special ;)

This is the second time I took part in Sabah Adventure Challenge. Aman and the team had organized the event successfully last year, made me want to join again this year. Last year, we stayed in luxurious Mersilau Lodge, but this year we camped out at Air Panas Poring. Day T-2 I went to KK a day before the registration. Earlier plan to come with Bandit but he has work commitment and had to cancel the trip. Too bad he missed out all the fun. I flew in on board MAS and stayed at Masada Backpackers. I have stayed at many hostels in KK, but nothing like this one. I think this is the best hostel in KK and I met many new friends here ;) Later that night, I went out for dinner with OP Jibui and his colleagues. Then OP Syamdun join us.
