Borneo International Marathon 2012

Completed my 15th marathon with PB... in Malaysia. I ran too fast in the first half. Sub 1 hour first 10km. I reached 15km mark in 1:29hr and 20km mark in 2:05hr.... but 2nd half... PANCIT!!!

However, I managed to clock PB in Malaysia 5:12hr. Yahooo! I think this is the race if you want to clock PB other than Penang Bridge Marathon.

So much hassle to bring helmet into Malaysia

Arai or Shoei Helmets in Malaysia are considered as top brand and they are very expensive, nothing less than RM2000 a piece and some models fetch up 3-4 thousands ringgit. I always wanted to buy one but the price has put me on hold until I found out Japanese Yen dropped so much now and it is cheaper to buy online from Rakuten online shopping. I bought my Arai Tour Cross 3 Helmet more than one thousand ringgit cheaper in Japan. When I purchased it via a friend in Tokyo, I didn't know I need a permit to ship it to Malaysia. So, when the package arrived at POS Malaysia KLIA, it has been confiscated by the Royal Custom. I had 21 days to get custom clearance or it will be shipped back to Tokyo. POS Malaysia sent me a letter saying that my package has been kept at POS Malaysia KLIA waiting for custom clearance. 2021 Triumph Trident 660

Just a month after I bought my SV650, Fiza's friend offered her husband's motorcycle at a very attractive price. Apparently, her husband had given up riding and was willing to let go of the bike. After discussing it with me, I immediately told her to grab it because the mileage was fairly low. They settled the deal in just 15 minutes and over the following weekend, we went to JB to pick up the bike. To our surprise, the previous owner not only handed over the bike but also everything else, including riding jackets, boots, helmets, gloves, and more. Even the bike came with extras like a windscreen, new levers, engine guard, belly pan, tail bag, and bike cover. He said he didn't have time or passion for riding anymore, which was evident from the fact that the bike had only 174 km mileage after more than a year.
