Kapas-Marang Swimathon

Kapas-Marang Swimathon 13th April 2008.
Start from Pulau Kapas to Pantai Kelulut Marang. Distance 6.5km.....(if u swim straight line)
"Only the brave will do, only the best will finish".
Let see if I'm brave enuff to cross the start line. Oh God, pls help me survive this race.

Look at the distance! Obviously, it's not for weak hearted.

It might be even longer than shown by the map. I think the landing point is Kg Kelulut, 1.5km farther south on Route 3. Or you can think of it as a simple 1.2km swim to the next PowerBar bouy, followed by another, and another and another and another. Good Luck. S

Thanks Steve. I think I shud take it one PowerBar buoy at one time. My target is to cover at least 3 buoys which is almost equivalent to Ironman distance about 3.6km. I'll be happy if I can achieve that.

Just a month after I bought my SV650, Fiza's friend offered her husband's motorcycle at a very attractive price. Apparently, her husband had given up riding and was willing to let go of the bike. After discussing it with me, I immediately told her to grab it because the mileage was fairly low. They settled the deal in just 15 minutes and over the following weekend, we went to JB to pick up the bike. To our surprise, the previous owner not only handed over the bike but also everything else, including riding jackets, boots, helmets, gloves, and more. Even the bike came with extras like a windscreen, new levers, engine guard, belly pan, tail bag, and bike cover. Weekend jaunt to Brisbane

The following weekend after the trip to Adelaide, Fiza got another day off in Brisbane. Since I had never been to Brisbane before, I joined her trip to Down Under again within a week. Trip to Australia again  Like the Adelaide trip, the flight was at night and we arrived at Brisbane Airport in the morning. After Fiza got her rest at the hotel, we went out looking for lunch. Then we jalan-jalan at the shopping arcade. Around the city center  In the evening, we went out running along the river. The view by the river bank was spectacular. The city is alive at night, unlike Adelaide. There were events and people were busy everywhere. A short run along the river  The next day, we went to Warner Bros. Movie World near the Gold Coast.
