Ironman training just started

My plan to start the training was hampered by the road closing at Putrajaya Mosque. I made an appoinment with Mat Licin to RV at the mosque and to make it worse, I left my mobile in the office previous night. I was there don't know what to do and wasn't sure where actually Mat Licin is waiting for me. So, I proceed to the pool hope Mat Licin will do the same.... well, great minds think alike. Alas, he wasn't there at all after 15 minutes. He might be going to Taman Warisan waiting for me. I don't know whose mind actually is not that great, me or him?...haha

I started cycle from Kompleks Sukan Air Putrajaya heading towards Alamanda using the highway with killer uphill stretch, i was hoping I won't get my tyres puncture as I don't have enough tools to change the tube. Or else it will turn to 15km run in cycling shoes :P
Completed 30km  in an hour.... easy peasy.

Haven't swim since Desaru tri. Today I was thinking I should do at least 1000m. The pool opened at 9am and there I was in the pool at 9.20. Alone doing the laps just to improvise my technique. I wish guys like Luvis & Bukhari are here to correct my strokes. Then gradually more and more people came. I still have my lane in the middle of the pool as everyone doesn't dare to get near to me. They must have been thinking, this guy doesn't know how to stop. Completed my 1000m, hey what heck! Let's do another 500m. I could see people start giving odd looking as I have been swimming more than half an hour without stopping. At 1.5km, after one minute rest and thought.... i'm not going to swim for another week, let's finish up this training with another 500m. By the time I completed 2000m, nobody is the pool. I have good feeling I can finish 3.8km swim in 2 hrs 20 mins cut-off time.

Nothing will stop me from competing Ironman this coming February. Looking at the current workloads, it's going to be tough to continue with my routine. Hope I will get supports from my bosses & my company. First thing first.... got to watch my diet. I gained 4kgs after raya... blame it on raya open house :P

Oh... by the way, I met Abu Power on the way out of the pool complex. Obviously, he's doing his secret training. So, watch out guys!
